Opened in 2014 in Edgard, Louisiana on a former indigo and sugarcane plantation. The Field of Angels memorial honors the 2,200 enslaved children who died in St. John the Baptist Parish; the Wall of Honor lists 354 enslaved people who lived on the plantation.
